Act as a Quality Leader: Serve as the primary point of contact for quality on the assigned program. You will interface across functions within the program, key suppliers, and customers to ensure technical quality, financial performance, and compliance with RTX procedures and contractual requirements.

Drive Strategic and Tactical Success: Collaborate closely with program teams to focus on quality, cost, and schedule performance. Provide early engagement and strategic insights to influence outcomes and deliver value to our programs.

Build Strong Partnerships: Develop and maintain effective relationships with senior managers, Integrated Product Teams (IPTs), customers, and program support functions. Work together to implement proactive quality strategies that reinforce RTX as the provider of choice.

Champion Continuous Improvement: Lead the adoption and application of our Customer Oriented Results & Excellence (CORE) Operating System. Apply its tools and concepts to continuously improve business outcomes, program execution, and process implementation.

Lead Problem-Solving Initiatives: Take ownership of Root Cause Corrective Action (RCCA) and Failure Review and Corrective Action System (FRACAS) activities. Ensure systemic issues are addressed through comprehensive RCCA to improve product quality and performance.

Oversee Quality in Execution: Monitor quality performance in a production lab environment, overseeing issue resolution and delivering innovative solutions to meet customer expectations.

Enable Product Excellence: Collaborate with ASD Design Engineering, Operations, and Supply Chain to develop robust product maturation and transition strategies. Drive the implementation of Advanced Product Quality Planning (APQP), New Product Introduction (NPI), Manufacturing Readiness Assessment (MRA), and Technology Readiness Assessment (TRA) to support successful transitions to production.

Ensure Customer Success: Act as the voice of the customer, ensuring mission success by addressing their needs and delivering exceptional results.

Support Documentation and Compliance: Participate in program document reviews, approvals, and verifications to maintain high-quality standards and compliance.

Maintain Program Access: Obtain and maintain additional program access as required to ensure seamless program execution.
Qualifications You Must Have:
-
Typically requires a bachelor’s degree and a minimum of eight (8) years of prior relevant experience

Experience with ISO 9001 and/or AS9100 Quality Management Systems.

Proficiency in risk and opportunity management, assessment, mitigation, and capture.
-
Familiarity with drawings, specifications, and geometric dimensioning and tolerancing (GD&T).
-
Experience working with Nonconforming Material Boards and/or Failure Review Boards (MRB/FRB).
-
Strong background in root cause corrective actions (RCCAs) and applying quality methodology and tools.
-
Proven experience interfacing and communicating effectively with internal and external customers, as well as suppliers.

Active and transferrable final U.S. government issued Secret security clearance is required prior to start date with the ability to obtain program access after start. US citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.
Qualifications We Prefer:

CORE Champion, Industry Six Sigma, Green Belt Certification, or a similar certification.

Experience with estimating and new business proposals, including Basis of Estimate (BOE) Certification.

Experience with factory systems and software such as PRISM, SAP, and CMES.

Experience in using tools such as Adobe Acrobat Pro and Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint).

Experience reviewing Statement of Work (SOW), Corrective Action Requests (CAR).
-
Experience presenting, reviewing and/or approving changes through a formal Change Control Board (CCB).
-
Experience interfacing directly with customers.
-
Experienced written and verbal presentation skills, to communicate across all levels of an organization.

Experienced in exercising judgment and applying resolution-making skills when appropriate.

The salary range for this role is 107,500 USD - 204,500 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
