You will operate to drive clarity, decision velocity, and predictable delivery across multiple orgs, geographies, and vendors. Success requires deep data center/infrastructure program leadership, disciplined operating mechanisms, and the ability to resolve ambiguity and cross-team constraints that directly impact OCI capacity growth and service readiness.
Internal Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities
1) Data Center Programs & Critical Path Management
Drive Vendor Management quality and execution on a programmatic level. The expectation is to understand the contracted work on a technical level and drive vendor engagement to increase quality, throughput, and efficiency metrics while adhering to cost savings targets.
Build and maintain integrated plans that connect design artifacts (layouts/BOMs/patch matrices), material readiness, build execution, commissioning, software/platform enablement, and production handoff.
Coordinate across supply chain and deployment stakeholders on long-lead constraints and mitigation strategies to protect committed delivery dates in partnership with material forecast/planning, ordering, supply chain.
Identify dependencies, critical path, and constraints; drive tradeoffs, sequencing decisions, and escalation paths to protect schedule and readiness. Solve for it tactically, yet build a plan, collaborate to resolve systemically to scale.
Align internal teams and external partners on readiness gates, delivery milestones, quality expectations, and escalation paths. Ensure schedule and cost visibility, change impact clarity, and early warning signal instrumentation.
2) Executive Cadence, Decision Framing, and Visibility
- Establish operating cadence, executive readouts, and decision logs to increase decision velocity and accountability.
Provide crisp, decision-ready communication: options, recommendations, risks, mitigations, and asks.
3) Technical Program Leadership
- Experience scaling AI/GPU infrastructure and/or rapid capacity expansion programs to serve as a technical integrator across infrastructure domains—data hall design, deployment systems/ automation, network/compute/power/telemetry, and operational readiness.
- Lead adoption of repeatable mechanisms, standards, and automation to reduce rework, shorten cycle time, and improve first-pass quality.
Qualifications
5+ years of experience leading complex technical programs (or equivalent), ideally across cloud infrastructure, Data Center Design, hyperscale data centers, or large-scale distributed systems.
Demonstrated success leading multi-org programs with executive stakeholders; strong ability to influence without direct authority.
Technical fluency across the data center delivery lifecycle (plan/design/build/commission/operate) and cloud infrastructure requirements.
Excellent written and verbal communication, including executive-level narratives and decision framing.
Strong operational discipline: building mechanisms, dashboards, KPI instrumentation, and escalation paths.
Experience with program management methodologies and tools (e.g., Jira/Confluence, MS Project/Smartsheet; Agile/hybrid delivery).
Preferred Qualifications
Familiarity in design, integration, and implementation of fiber installation and data communication systems. BICSCI (or equivalent) certs are preferred for this role.
Experience coordinating with Low-Voltage vendors, deployment teams, and global supplier ecosystems.
