What You’ll Be Doing:
- Develop, measure, and adjust performance results, manager budgets, and costs
- Provide vision and strategies, align business goals with the regional and organizational strategy of the Midwest Region and the Heidelberg Material organization
- Create a production plan, adapt to market conditions
- Lead and develop management, ensure effective talent strategies
- Build key customer relationships, engage with industry and community, direct sales and marketing
- Identify and implement improvements, leverage technology for better customer experience and cost savings.
What are you looking For:
- Bachelor’s degree required, MBA preferred
- 10+ years in the construction industry with exposure to multiple product lines (aggregates preferred)
- 7-10 years in sales, operations, or engineering roles, with a focus on safety
- Prior leadership experience as well as M & A and developing business cases to support growth projects
- Solid understanding of operations and sales, with in-depth financial knowledge (P & L, EVA, budgeting)
- Proficient in MS Office Suite, strong negotiation skills, and sound decision-making abilities
