Role Summary The Logistics Maintenance Planner is responsible for planning and coordinating maintenance activities, material readiness, and workforce scheduling, with a strong emphasis on direct client alignment and communication.
This role acts as the central coordination point between the client, field teams, and internal operations, ensuring all work is properly planned, resourced, and executed in accordance with client expectations, SOPs, and timelines.
Key Responsibilities Client Coordination & Engagement (Primary Focus) Serve as a day-to-day coordination partner with client stakeholders
Align on:
Maintenance schedules
Installation timelines
Site readiness requirements
Participate in client calls, planning sessions, and status updates
Translate client priorities into actionable work plans for field teams
Proactively communicate:
Schedule changes
Risks or delays
Material constraints
Ensure all activities align with client SOPs, SLAs, and definitions of completion
Maintenance & Work Planning
Develop and maintain preventive and corrective maintenance schedules
Build detailed work plans including:
Labor requirements
Material needs
Time estimates
Prioritize work based on:
Client urgency
Operational impact
Service level commitments

Coordinate material delivery, staging, and site readiness
Ensure all required parts, tools, and equipment are available ahead of scheduled work
Track shipment timelines vs planned execution windows
Identify and escalate material gaps that could impact delivery
Workforce Planning & Coordination
Align technician availability with approved client schedules and priorities
Support crew coordination across sites while optimizing utilization
Adjust plans in real time based on:
Field updates
Client direction
Operational constraints
Reporting & Visibility
Maintain planning trackers for:
Work orders
Maintenance backlog
Schedule adherence
Provide regular updates to both internal teams and client stakeholders
Track key metrics:
Schedule adherence
Completion rates
Material readiness
Travel Expectations
0–25% travel (primarily coordination-based role)
Occasional site visits for:
Project kickoff / launch readiness
Key client walkthroughs
Issue escalation support
Majority of work performed remotely or from central office environment
Qualifications
3–7 years experience in:
Maintenance planning
Logistics coordination
Field operations support
Proven experience working directly with clients in a coordination or planning role
Strong scheduling, organization, and communication skills
Experience with CMMS, planning tools, or Excel-based tracking systems
Ability to operate in fast-paced, client-driven environments
CBRE carefully considers multiple factors to determine compensation, including a candidate’s education, training, and experience. The minimum salary for the Logistical Maintenance Planner position is $80,000.00 annually [or $38.46 per hour] and the maximum salary for the Logistical Maintenance Planner position is $105,000.00 annually [or $50.48 per hour]. The compensation that is offered to a successful candidate will depend on the candidate’s skills, qualifications, and experience.
