The Role:
The Warehouse Distribution Associate (2nd Shift) plays a critical role in supporting production operations at the GM Defense Production Facility by ensuring materials are accurately stored, staged, and delivered to the point of use. This role is responsible for maintaining inventory flow across DLOCs, kit cells, and ULOCs, supporting build schedules, and helping ensure materials are available to meet production requirements. The ideal candidate is safety-focused, detail-oriented, and comfortable working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment while partnering closely with production, material flow, and leadership teams to support daily operations.
What You Will Do (Responsibilities):

Organize and maintain material in DLOCs

Pick parts to kits
-
Comprehend ship schedule and build requirements

Maintain PFEP (DLOC, coord ULOC)

Maintain visuals (with MIN/MAX) in DLOC, kit cells, and lineside

Stock parts to ULOC for each build
-
Report MIN/MAX violations (alarms) to MFU
-
Count parts in DLOC, kit cell, and ULOC and report
-
Participate in floor safety review

Participate in quality reviews
-
Assist Dock operations as needed
-
Completes administrative tasks, and supports leadership team as needed
Your Skills & Abilities (Required Qualifications)

High School Diploma or GED
-
Forklift Certification
-
Minimum of 2 years of experience driving Forklift trucks in a manufacturing/warehouse environment.

Ability to work over-time, weekends, holidays, etc. as needed

Candidate must either be a U.S. Person (U.S. citizen, U.S. permanent resident, asylee or refugee) or a non-U.S. Person who is eligible to obtain any required export control authorization.
