Oracle Health Government Services is seeking a Director, Product Development to join our mission-driven organization. This position is critical to the supporting of our Federal client with their Electronic Health Modernization needs. This position combines hands-on technical integration development, end-to-end project management responsibilities, and influencing both internal product teams on schedule and external client growth opportunities for healthcare interfaces and product delivery.
This role oversees the engineering federal program efforts and will require knowledge in —technical planning, design, configuration, security infrastructure within a federal system. This role will provide strategic coordination between the client, third party systems integrator, and internal lines of businesses. The position serves as the executive engineer and will have oversight of architectural and security activities. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of federal contracting rules and regulations and be comfortable operating within a highly regulated environment. It will require communication and collaboration with cross-functional teams at an executive level—both with internal stakeholders and client partners.
Internal Responsibilities
Plan, coordinate, and manage integration projects from initiation through pre-deployment and post–go-live support.
Communicate highly complex, technical information for executive/layman audiences.
Mentor engineers and architect managers and their staff for high performance.
Oversee all aspect of technical project management for high-quality execution.
Participate in strategic project, technical, and deployment discussions.
Coordinate directly with clients, internal technical teams, vendors, and federal stakeholders.
Solution documented and escalated project risks and issues.
Engaged in the identification and solution build dependencies within the Oracle Health product platform.
Identify and participate in growth activities with internal leadership and sales teams for new and expanded opportunities
Top skills or competencies to be successful:
Hands on experience leading mid-to-large technical programs with multiple teams operational
High level technical communications both internal and external
Communication, team building, coaching
Education, certifications, or experience (preferred/required):
Bachelors plus a minimum of 12 years of relevant job experience.
Familiarity with systems development life cycle (SDLC) methodologies, business process re-engineering, and program management best practices is essential.
Previous Federal Contracting experience preferred
PMP preferred

US Citizenship is required with an ability to obtain and maintain a government security clearance.
