Signal Analyst
The Signal Analyst will address activities necessary for the successful execution of a Space Force Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity (ID/IQ) by providing wideband watch office duties to maintain situational awareness of Wideband MILSATCOM’s space-based assets and ground control infrastructure status while monitoring the Wideband SATCOM Operations and Management System Network (WSOMSNet).

ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Maintain situational awareness of Wideband MILSATCOM’s space-based assets and ground control infrastructure status.
Review satellite command plans.
Provide troubleshooting assistance to the WSOCs, RSSCs, and SATCOM terminals and assist with primary troubleshooting and anomaly resolution for all mission systems.
Verify transmission and terminal performance and status and report operational and maintenance issues, as required.
Identify, troubleshoot, and eliminate anomalous transmission and payload conditions.
Update ticketing system when issues are discovered.
Create and publish applicable reports to appropriate agencies as required.
Assist with development and review of policy and procedural documents.
Regularly and routinely interact with military personnel and international partners.
Review and analyze daily reports.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:
Education and Experience:
BA/BS degree and 5+ years Wideband Military SATCOM (WGS) planner, manager, and/or controller experience or 8 years of experience in lieu of education.
DoD 8140 Certification (ie.Security+)
Citizenship and Clearance:
Technical Knowledge:
Minimum of 5 years Wideband Military SATCOM (WGS) planner, manager, and/or controller experience.
Familiarity with Transmission Controller Operating Instructions contained in the Wideband Controllers Guide (WCG).
Experience with analyzing the performance of transmission links for satellites by using Wideband Remote Monitoring Sensor (WRMS).
Familiarity and experience with using SolarWinds.
Establish and maintain up-to-date cybersecurity configurations based on DISA STIGs and IAVM Notices.
Experience implementing patches, scanning, remediating findings, and auditing.
Working knowledge of RMF and cybersecurity requirements.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Experience in the use of IT tools.
Ability to plan, implement, verify and troubleshoot local and wide-area enterprise networks.
Strong enterprise network troubleshooting (Cisco IOS(s), IP routing, EIGRP)
Strong skill set with Microsoft Office software applications.
Demonstrated ability to work and grow in a dynamic, fast paced, team-oriented environment.
SCHEDULED WEEKLY HOURS:
Mixed. With normal hours of operation (0730–1630 hours).
Shift work, with schedules to be determined at a later date.
TRAVEL:
This position is contingent upon contract award.
Basic Compensation:
$80,800 - $101,000
This range is for theCOarea only
The offered rate will be based on the selected candidate’s work location, knowledge, skills, abilities and/or experience, clearancelevel,contract affordability and in consideration of internal parity.
Additional Compensation:
KBR may offer bonuses, commissions, or other forms of compensation to certain job titles or levels, per internal policy or contractual designation. Additional compensation may be in the form of sign on bonus, relocation benefits, short term incentives, long term incentives, or discretionary payments for exceptional performance.
