Jr System Administrator will collaborate and support exciting, critical programs with classified information system capabilities. Success in this role means you can develop, implement, and maintain secure, cost-efficient environments across various classified programs. Program teams rely on your collaboration and guidance to define computing requirements and create end-to-end
solutions to solve complex IT infrastructure problems.
What You Will Do:

Provide IT systems administration in a heterogeneous Microsoft Windows environment supporting SIPR and other information systems.

Work as a team member in a fast-paced technological environment. Use troubleshooting techniques to resolve technical problems of basic to moderate scope and complexity to include the integration of hardware and operating systems.

Manage virtualized environments.

Utilize your experience with Windows Server internals to include DNS, DHCP, AD, and server replication methods.
-
Utilize your experience with hardware RAID, hardware and software encryption and server management tools.
-
Utilize your experience in data backup and restore, using industry best practice.

Install and configure software applications requested by end users.
-
Work with Cybersecurity professionals to maintain security requirements.

Obtain Department of Defense Directive (DoDD) 8140 / 8570 Certification requirements (CompTIA Security+ CE or equivalent certification) within 6 months of start date.

Systems are operational 24x7 and occasionally require work effort beyond standard work hours.
-
Travel required as business needs dictate to other US Domestic locations, up to 10% per year.

Work full time, 100% Onsite position.
Qualifications You Must Have:

Typically requires a University Degree or equivalent experience and less than 2 years of prior relevant experience.

SIPR experience

Experience with some of, but not limited to, the following technologies: Windows administration, backup, and recovery enterprise suite

Experience with system hardening for security compliance

Qualifications We Prefer:
- Department of Defense Directive (DoDD) 8140 / 8570 Certification requirements (CompTIA Security+ CE or equivalent certification and an Operating System Certification).
- Experience with Trellix Host Base Security System (HBSS), ePolicy Orchestrator (ePO), Endpoint Security (ENS) Policy Auditor (PA), Data Loss Prevention (DLP).
- Experience Deploying Windows workstations and migrating end-user data.
- Experience with Microsoft Windows Active Directory Services administration and support (e.g. user and computer objects administration, Group Policy).
- Experience with network services related to Microsoft Windows environment (e.g. DC, DNS, DHCP, etc.).

The salary range for this role is 57,200 USD - 108,800 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
