The Naval Power Engineering Execution Team is looking for a highly motivated Integrated Product Team Lead (IPTL) for the new Standard Missile (SM-6) Production Growth directorate in the Ship Based Missiles sub-strategic business unit. This position reports to the Production Growth Director and Chief Engineer and leads a team of leaders through the execution of multiple production growth efforts at the All-Up Round (AUR) level within the portfolio including transition to production, obsolescence management, factory optimization, test equipment integration, supplier capacity growth, test optimization, yield improvements, Missile Verification Testing (MVT) implementation at the AUR level, multiyear production proposals support, and coordination with the new Capacity Growth Organization with the goal to keep up production deliveries while implementing the growth capacity for SM-6.
This lead will be responsible for coordinating across all existing AUR value stream capacity growth, transition to production, and obsolescence programs within the directorate to drive meeting the delivery commitment for the Naval Standard Missile Systems (NSMS) multi-year procurement. The person selected will be accountable for cost, performance, and schedule metrics for the AUR scope across all these activities.
In addition, it is expected this person will work across all Raytheon functional organizations to coordinate staffing the team and ensure the timely start-up and delivery of products in accordance with the multiple contracts.
This is an onsite position located either in Tucson, Arizona or Huntsville, Alabama.
What You Will Do
-
Lead engineering scope execution across multiple production related contractual activities to meet schedule and cost constraints to support production capacity growth goals for the next 5 years.

Collaborate with Chief Engineer to proactively identify, evaluate, track and prioritize actions that keep the different activities within the portfolio aligned with the 5-year production growth strategy.

Work with multiple groups to align requirements, statements of work and verification plan to support the production growth strategy.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Systems Engineering, Software Engineering, Firmware Engineers, Test Equipment and Production Test Engineers.

Working with the Program Director and Chief Engineer to define resource requirements and ensure adherence to program milestones.

Oversee the design, development and systems integration activities within production facilities to support transition to production (TTP).

Manage risk identification, mitigation strategies and resolution of technical challenges impacting across the directorate's contractual and capital-funded activities.

Provide technical guidance and mentorship to team members to foster a collaborative and high-performing team environment.

Act as the point of contact for internal and external stakeholders, communicating efforts status, risks and opportunities effectively.

Support proposal development and planning activities for future projects and initiatives related to the production value stream.

Attend Change Control Boards (CCBs) and support the approval of product and process changes.
Qualifications You Must Have
-
Typically requires a Bachelor’s in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) and a minimum of 12 years of prior relevant experience unless prohibited by local laws/regulations.

Earned Value Management System (EVMS) Certified.

Supplier management experience
-
Experience with both Windows and Microsoft products.

Experience working with multi-disciplinary groups for complete system delivery.

System integration experience to include hardware, software and/or firmware.

Experience leading cross-functional teams and managing complex projects.

Qualifications We Prefer

Experience with hardware design and development.

Knowledge of equipment rack assembly, cable assembly/installation, and electronics maintenance.

Familiarity with model-based systems engineering (MBSE) and Doors or Agile development methodologies.

The salary range for this role is 157,200 USD - 298,800 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
