Who we’re looking for
We are seeking a highly skilled and versatile Senior Productivity Security Engineer to serve as a key technical lead and trusted right-hand partner to the National Manager of Productivity Security. This role will help drive the security strategy, engineering execution, and operational maturity of modern workforce technologies, including AI-driven productivity platforms, enterprise APIs, endpoint applications, browsers, and mobile environments.
The ideal candidate is both strategic and hands-on — capable of translating security vision into scalable engineering outcomes while partnering cross-functionally with workplace technology, cloud, engineering, product, and governance teams. This individual will act as a senior technical advisor, lead complex initiatives, mentor junior engineers, and help operationalize secure-by-design productivity technologies across the enterprise.
What you’ll be doing
Serve as a senior technical lead and strategic partner to the National Manager of Productivity Security, helping drive execution, prioritization, and operational maturity across the program.
Lead the engineering and implementation of security controls supporting AI-enabled productivity platforms, enterprise APIs, endpoint applications, browsers, and mobile technologies.
Help design and operationalize secure AI usage patterns, including prompt protection, data leakage prevention, identity-aware access controls, workload isolation, and governance guardrails.
Drive endpoint and browser security initiatives across managed devices, including application allow listing, endpoint privilege management, browser hardening, secure configuration baselines, and runtime protections.
Support mobile security engineering efforts, including MDM/MAM integrations, mobile application protections, conditional access enforcement, and secure data handling controls.
Partner closely with workplace technology, cloud, product, and engineering teams to embed security into productivity platforms and workflows by design.
Conduct threat modeling, risk assessments, control reviews, and technical security evaluations across AI workflows, APIs, endpoint applications, and mobile ecosystems.
Assist with the development and enforcement of security standards, engineering guardrails, implementation patterns, and operational procedures related to AI, APIs, endpoints, and productivity tooling.
Investigate emerging threats, misuse patterns, and attack techniques impacting AI systems, workforce productivity technologies, and modern collaboration platforms.
Contribute to roadmap planning, architecture reviews, incident response support, metrics development, and executive-level reporting on security posture and residual risk.
Mentor and support junior engineers while helping establish engineering best practices, documentation standards, and repeatable operational processes.
Act as a technical escalation point and provide leadership continuity in support of the manager and broader Productivity Security function.
What you bring
10+ years of experience in IT engineering with 2-3 years of cybersecurity specific engineering.
Hands-on experience across one or more domains including endpoint security, AI security, API security, cloud security, application security, DLP, vulnerability management, or security operations.
Technical understanding of AI security concepts, including prompt injection risks, data exposure pathways, model misuse, identity and access control considerations, and AI governance principles.
Hands-on experience securing endpoint applications and browsers, including application control, endpoint privilege management, browser security, device hardening, and user activity protections.
Familiarity with enterprise mobile security architectures, including MDM/MAM, mobile application protection policies, and secure mobile data handling.
Ability to balance strategic thinking with hands-on engineering execution in a fast-moving enterprise environment.
Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively across security, engineering, workplace technology, cloud, and product teams.
Experience contributing to security standards, operational procedures, technical roadmaps, and architecture reviews.
Working knowledge of security frameworks and standards such as NIST, CIS Controls, OWASP Top 10, and OWASP API Security Top 10.
Added bonus if you have
Experience securing enterprise AI productivity platforms such as Microsoft Copilot, ChatGPT Enterprise, AWS Bedrock, developer copilots, or internally developed GenAI solutions.
Hands-on experience with endpoint security technologies such as EDR, MAM/MDM, application allow listing, endpoint privilege management (EPM), browser isolation, or DLP-integrated controls.
Familiarity with API security platforms, runtime protection technologies, or AI security tooling.
Experience operating in highly regulated environments such as financial services, healthcare, or critical infrastructure.
Exposure to AI governance frameworks, acceptable-use guardrails, model risk management practices, and audit-ready AI control programs.
Experience mentoring engineers or serving as a technical lead for cross-functional security initiatives.
