Who we’re looking for
Toyota’s Production Engineering Department is looking for a passionate and highly motivated PE Analyst.
The primary responsibility of this role is to support the Production Team to meet and exceed all KPI targets set by the Company Hoshin.
Reporting to the Sr. Manager- Manufacturing, the person in this role will support the Production Engineering Department's objective to develop and implement continuous improvement kaizens to improve safety, quality, productivity and cost for our team members and products.
What you’ll be doing
Line support process improvements
Focus on problem solving, TPS principles, and customer/line-support
Lead and manage multiple line improvement projects, including minor-model changes
Subject matter expert and lead training of other members within the department
Continuously improving the engineering department’s processes and standards
Support and resolve process, equipment and tooling related issues
Conducting reports to share to Management and stakeholders the planning, status and results of your projects or activities.
What you bring
Bachelor's degree and/or 8 years Automotive Manufacturing Engineering equivalent experience
Applicable Powertrain Engineering experience
Self-driven learner, desire to continuously improve yourself and others
Great communication skills
Ability to proficiently use Microsoft Office tools
Electrical troubleshooting experience for PLCs, including the ability to modify and interpret
Mechanical troubleshooting experience for assembly and machining equipment
Working knowledge of OSHA equipment Safety Standards
Experience in a role self-teaching new technology, processes and procedures
Added bonus if you have
Experience in a Toyota Engineering role
Unit Plant experience (Engine, AT, Axle)
Experience developing process reduction automation
Experience securing funding for technical projects
Experience with management of multi small to medium projects simultaneously
