Crispy Cones is seeking friendly, energetic, and motivated individuals to join our team! Team Members are responsible for delivering exceptional guest experiences by preparing our signature soft-serve cones, maintaining a clean work environment, and working collaboratively with team members. This is a great opportunity for those who enjoy a fast-paced, team-focused atmosphere and take pride in creating high-quality desserts.
Should be available to work on one of the weekend days.
What you’ll do
● Prepare and serve handcrafted cones and soft-serve creations with attention to detail and presentation.
● Bake cones according to company standards.
● Interact positively with guests, ensuring a welcoming and memorable experience. This includes greeting guests warmly, offering product recommendations, efficiently taking orders, and ensuring a friendly and welcoming atmosphere.
● Address basic guest inquiries or concerns promptly and professionally, escalating complex issues to a Shift Lead or General Manager.
● Maintain a clean and organized prep, service, and cooking area throughout the shift.
● Follow all food safety and sanitation guidelines.
● Assist with opening and closing responsibilities as needed.
● Work cooperatively with team members to ensure smooth daily operations.
● Demonstrate flexibility by being available for day, evening, and night shifts, including Sundays.
Desired skills and experience
● High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
● Previous experience in an ice cream store, especially swirling soft-serve ice cream required.
● Basic understanding of food handling and safety procedures.
● Familiarity with fast-paced service environments preferred.
● Awareness of cleanliness standards in food service operations.
● Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
● Ability to work efficiently and accurately under pressure.
● Positive attitude and willingness to learn new tasks.
● Attention to detail in product preparation and customer service.
Abilities
● Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks such as lifting, bending, and reaching.
● Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
● Ability to follow instructions and complete tasks consistently.
● Ability to adapt to changing priorities during a shift.
