Raytheon is seeking a highly motivated and experienced individual to join our Operations and Supply Chain Strategy Team. The successful candidate will be instrumental in developing and implementing strategies to optimize supply chain activities across the Raytheon portfolio of products. You will collaborate with leaders across Operations, Supply Chain, and Programs and leverage a variety of quantitative and qualitative data sources to assess current-state performance, define strategic priorities, and drive initiatives that enhance quality, delivery, cost, and mission readiness. This position offers the opportunity to apply strategic consulting experience directly to programs and technologies critical to national security.
You will also lead various cross-business and cross-functional strategic initiatives as required, serving as a key interface for Operations across supply chain, mission areas, and other functions and businesses. The successful candidate will leverage a network within Operations and with other subject matter experts to deliver integrated and balanced solutions.
This role is well suited for individuals coming from top tier management consulting who bring a strong understanding of operational strategy, supply chain, and manufacturing transformation in complex, engineering driven environments.
What You Will Do:
Understand and define operations current state and use a combination of data analytics and qualitative methods to develop a prioritized set of opportunities and associated defined initiatives to impact operations strategic objectives.
Identify, develop and execute specific opportunities to optimize our operations and supply operations, scope projects and develop action plans to drive them to closure.
Create and implement supply chain strategies, identify key gaps / pain points and critical areas for innovation, supported by corresponding roadmaps
Partner on planning and overseeing strategic process improvements around internal and external supply chain processes
Provide structure, analytical rigor, and executive-ready insights to complex operational and program challenges.
Drive the execution of transformation activities, ensuring recommendations lead to measurable improvements in cost, schedule performance, and operational resilience.
Work within a matrixed team in multiple locations
Developing and presenting strategic solutions and regular progress reports to senior leadership
· Ability to travel 5-40%
Qualifications You Must Have:
Typically requires: A University Degree or equivalent experience and minimum 8 years prior relevant experience, or An Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 5 year's experience.
The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance is required.
U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.
Qualifications We Prefer:
Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams and drive results in matrixed organizations.
Strong analytical problem solving‑ skills with the ability to handle ambiguity and develop structured approaches to complex challenges.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present to senior leaders and influence decision-making.
Experience with developing a business case/ROI/financial analysis
Experience developing or participating in the development of applied / operational strategy

Degree in Engineering, Operations Management, Supply Chain, Business Administration, or Finance
Experience in top-tier management consulting and/or internal strategy operations
Experience analyzing data and developing and presenting compelling presentations to internal stakeholders and executive leadership
Experience with supplier management, strategic sourcing, and/or supplier assessments
Experience with process design/governance, transformation management, and operating model design
Understanding of Lean Application/Six Sigma principles and operations / supply chain leading practices
Familiarity with the Raytheon portfolio of programs
Active U.S. Security Clearance

The salary range for this role is 107,500 USD - 204,500 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
