This position is based out of Toyota Headquarters in Plano, TX
Who we’re looking for
Toyota’s Warranty Field Operations is looking for a passionate and highly motivated Senior Analyst, Supply Chain
The primary responsibility of this role is to be the liaison between Headquarters (HQ), Region and Dealerships identifying areas of opportunity to reduce unnecessary warranty spend through official programs and ad hoc trend analysis activities. Development of new tools, visualizations for HQ, Regional Staff and Dealers to utilize through new reports, dashboards and training.
Reporting to the Manager - Supply Chain, the person in this role will support the warranty operations objective to reduce unwarranted claim costs
What you’ll be doing
- Create/develop internal and external data visualizations as well as exploring new comparison models with reports in Tableau and Alteryx to analyze national expense trends.
- Support Warranty Assessment Score (WAS) program, maintenance and future development.
- Evaluate repair cost and dealer repair patterns to identify potential issues and dealer misuse. Present the Warranty Assessment Score (WAS) results.
- Field Interface - Interact with field staff and management regarding expense control topics related to warranty expense issues, audit scheduling, special reporting, dealer evaluations, special dealer issues, claim reviews and claim inquiries. Support all field requests related to warranty expense control.
- Review dealership claim submissions, operation code use, cost ranking to identify potential expense irregularities that require investigation and perform necessary and corrective dealer debits/chargebacks.
- Conduct in-dealership warranty reviews/audits involving all US – Toyota and Lexus dealers. Evaluate dealer claim data and determine required repairs and documentation to be evaluated and any potential inspections. Conduct in-dealership review of dealership documentation and evaluate compliance to warranty policies and procedures. Compile results of audit findings; prepare written summary of audit findings, dealer infractions and liabilities. Conduct dealer meetings to review audit results and present findings.
- Field Training - Conduct DSPM expense control training involving dealer audits/evaluations, dealer documentation requirements, expense control tools and the Warranty Assessment Score (WAS) program use and Tableau Dealer dashboards. Support training and system activities for the DSPM On-Line authorization App (RAS).
- Perform dealer debits/chargebacks to support expense control activities
What you bring
- Bachelor’s degree or related experience
- Experience with statistical data analysis, and report development using Tableau and Tableau Server or Power BI
- Experience with database query tools (ex. Alteryx, MySQL, Power BI etc.)
- Experience with automotive fixed operations experience (Direct/Indirect)
- Willing to travel up to 50%
Added bonus if you have
- Technical Experience / Certifications (ASEs)
- 5 years of field or dealership experience.
- Customer relations experience
- Practical application of statistical or data science methodologies (Predictive modeling /Python)
- Understanding of basic computer programming concepts (Logic flows / function statements / Iteration)
