SAP Brunch, Brown Bag & Bakery is one of Appleton's most beloved brunch destinations a scratch-made, farm-to-table restaurant and bakery passionate about food, people, and community. We source local Wisconsin ingredients, serve made-to-order dishes, and take pride in creating a warm, welcoming experience for every guest who walks through our doors. The Role
We're looking for a friendly, flexible, and hardworking Restaurant Support Staff member to help keep our service running smoothly. This is a versatile, hands-on role. You might be working the bakery counter, assisting our service team on the floor, or supporting the host stand depending on where we need you most that day. No two shifts look exactly the same, and that's what makes it exciting. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys variety, loves interacting with guests, and wants to be part of a great team.
What You'll Do
- Bakery Counter: Assist guests at the bakery counter, package and display baked goods, answer menu questions, and keep the counter clean, stocked, and visually appealing throughout service
- Service Assistant: Support the front-of-house team by running food and beverages, refilling drinks, clearing and resetting tables, and helping ensure every guest has what they need
- Host Stand Support: Greet and welcome guests, assist with seating, manage wait lists, and help maintain an organized and welcoming front-of-house flow
- Keep your work area clean, organized, and guest-ready at all times
- Communicate clearly and positively with teammates and management throughout each shift
- Pitch in wherever the team needs you. Flexibility is key in this role!
What We're Looking For
- A warm, friendly personality with a genuine love for serving people
- Ability to stay calm, focused, and upbeat in a fast-paced brunch environment
- Reliable and punctual, our team counts on each other
- Ability to stand for extended periods and move quickly during service
- Previous restaurant, café, bakery, or customer service experience is a plus but not required, we're happy to train the right person
