Established in 2017, NWPA has delivered approximately$3 billionin major transport infrastructure for Victoria. Building on this success, LXRP has awarded the alliance afive‑year extension, providing a strong, sustainable pipeline of complex rail and transport projects across Melbournethrough to2027.
Current and upcoming works includeMelbourne Airport Rail – Stage 1, theRuthven and Seaford level crossing removals, and multiple viaduct‑style bridge projects, with further major projects already in development.

As NWPA continues to expand, we are seeking an experiencedPrincipal Drainage Engineerto provide technical leadership across complex multidisciplinaryinfrastructure projects.
While yourinitialfocus will be with NWPA, this is apermanent role with KBR, offering long‑term career opportunities on iconic infrastructure projects across Australia.
As aPrincipal Drainage Engineer, you will play a critical leadership role in delivering some of Victoria’smost complex and high‑profile transport projects.
You will act as theDrainage Leadon major multidisciplinary programs, taking ownership of technical direction, leading design development, and navigating complex engineering challenges to deliver robust, innovative drainage solutions across road and rail environments.
You will provide high‑level technical leadership, mentor engineers at all levels, and work closely with clients and alliance partners to ensure projects are delivered to the highest standards ofquality, safety,costand schedule.
You are an experiencedPrincipal Drainage Engineerwith deep technicalexpertiseand a proventrack recordof leading drainage design on major civil infrastructure projects. You thrive in complex environments, bring clarity to multidisciplinary teams, and confidently guide both technical outcomes and people.
