Job Description
We are seeking a creative, trend-driven Home & Seasonal Designer to develop innovative product concepts and collections across Home Décor, Seasonal Merchandise, Gifting, and Lifestyle categories. This role is responsible for transforming trend insights into commercially successful products while maintaining strong design aesthetics, brand alignment, and customer relevance.
The ideal candidate has a passion for storytelling through product, strong trend awareness, and experience designing for seasonal programs and home categories.

Salary range: $75,000 - $85,000
Qualifications
Key Responsibilities
Creative Product Development
- Design and develop original products and collections across Home Décor, Seasonal, Gift, and Lifestyle categories.
- Create concept boards, mood boards, color palettes, material directions, prints, patterns, graphics, and product presentations.
- Develop coordinated assortments that support seasonal launches and merchandising strategies.
- Translate creative vision into market-ready products from concept through production.
- Proficient in drawing/illustration (including character poses, expressions, and turnarounds), design, perspective, and composition.
- A solid understanding of 2D to 3D translations.
Trend Research & Inspiration
- Research home, fashion, color, lifestyle, and retail trends to inform product direction.
- Analyze market activity, competitive assortments, customer insights, and global design influences.
- Present seasonal trend forecasts and product recommendations to internal teams.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Partner with merchandising, sourcing, suppliers, manufacturers, business teams, and retail leadership to ensure product execution aligns with creative intent, cost objectives, and launch timelines.
- Collaborate with product development teams on materials, finishes, construction details, and packaging solutions.
- Review prototypes, samples, and revisions to maintain quality and design integrity.
Design Execution
- Create technical packages, CAD artwork, specifications, colorways, and presentation materials.
- Prepare design documentation for sourcing and production teams.
- Support line reviews, customer presentations, and seasonal assortment meetings.
- Perform other related duties assigned to support the needs of the team.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Product Design, Industrial Design, or related field.
- 3+ years of experience in home décor, seasonal products, gifting, lifestyle, or consumer goods design.
- Strong portfolio demonstrating product development, seasonal storytelling, and trend application.
- Proficiency in:
- Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign)
- CAD and rendering tools
- Microsoft Office and presentation platforms
- Experience working with domestic and international suppliers and manufacturers.
- Strong understanding of materials, finishes, textiles, trims, packaging, and product construction.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal and able to provide clear direction.
- Ability to prioritize and multi-task in a dynamic, deadline driven environment that revolves around multiple product development calendars.
- Experience managing multiple categories simultaneously in fast paced environments.
- Highly organized, proactive – a self-starter.
- Solution oriented.
- Excellent organization skills and strong attention to detail.

- Hybrid: This position currently has a hybrid schedule, which requires contributing from the office a minimum of four days per week. The Company reserves the right to change in-office requirements at any time.
