Description:You will be the Sustainment / Maintainability Engineer for the Navy LEED Program. Our team creates logistics, maintainability, and sustainment solutions that keep the LEED system transportable, operable, and supportable throughout its entire life cycle.
What You Will Be Doing
As the Sustainment / Maintainability Engineer you will drive the development of Logistics Support Analysis (LSA) data and define the support equipment needed for the LEED system. Working hand in hand with engineering, logistics, program stakeholders, and the customer, you’ll embed sustainment planning early in the design process to guarantee long term operational readiness.
Your responsibilities will include:
• Build LSA data sets that capture maintenance, supportability, and sustainment requirements for LEED.
• Identify, size, and specify all support equipment required for safe transport, operation, and maintenance.
• Conduct maintainability assessments to verify the system can be serviced and repaired efficiently in the field.
• Partner with cross functional engineering and logistics groups to weave supportability into design, development, and fielding plans.
• Develop depot level sustainment strategies, including repair concepts, maintenance schedules, and future infrastructure needs.
• Review technical data, system requirements, and support documentation to ensure alignment with program goals.
• Coordinate with internal teams and customer representatives to resolve sustainment, logistics, and maintainability issues.
• Deliver clear technical inputs, status updates, and actionable recommendations on logistics support and depot planning.
• Champion continuous improvement initiatives that boost lifecycle affordability, operational availability, and mission readiness.

This position is in Grand Prairie, TX.
MUST BE A U.S. CITIZEN - This position is located at a facility that requires special access. The selected candidate must be able to obtain a secret clearance.
Basic Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college in a related discipline, or equivalent experience/combined education, with 4 years of professional experience
• Previous experience performing Maintenance Task Analysis
• Ability to write using clear and concise language that adheres to customer-established standards and conventions.
• Possess good computer skills, including knowledge of Microsoft Office software.
• Strong interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills
• Strong technical background
• Ability to quickly learn new software tools and processes
• Must be able to work well in a team environment
• Self-starter capable of performing assigned tasks with very little or no direction; interacts well with others.
• Analytical thinker with a demonstrated ability of solving complex problems which require ingenuity and innovation.
• Ability to work with cross functional teams.
• Experience with developing and delivering presentations to peers, management, and Customer.
• Ability to obtain a Gov't Secret Security Clearance
• Candidate must be willing to work on-site and travel as needed to support job responsibilities

• Experience using Cameo
• Experience planning and/or conducting Maintenance Demonstrations
• Working knowledge of field and depot sustainment and/or repair processes and activities.
• Past military experience

Ability to Work Remotely: Part-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
