Position Summary:
- This position supports domesticand global shipment logistics for the Reference Standard and Critical Reagent(RSCR) Group within the Global Product Development & Supply / GlobalQuality organization. Primary role will be to support numerous aspects ofshipping logistics/coordination and related shipping data management within theRSCR Operations group
Key Responsibilities:
- This role provides operational andlogistical support for international shipments, including preparation ofshipping documentation, coordination of international regulatory and customspaperwork, and endtoend tracking of shipment readinessfrom document initiation through shipment greenlight. The incumbent partnersclosely with crossfunctional stakeholdersincludinglaboratory teams, project managers, external vendors, and Quality Assuranceto ensure clear communication, alignment to businesspriorities, and timely execution of deliverables supporting clinical andcommercial programs.
- This position also involvesmaintaining a working understanding of how materials are prepared for shipment,including selecting appropriate containers, determining shipping temperaturerequirements, conditioning materials, and applying proper packing techniquesfor international shipments. The individual will manage outbound logisticalactivities, including order consolidation, to support timely and compliantmaterial distribution.

Qualifications & Experience
Specific Knowledge, Skills, andAbilities:
- 37 years of experience in ashipping logistics environment (specifically scientific, not industrial).Hazmat Shipping Certification in shipping Hazardous Material is a must.
- Experience supporting domesticand international shipment logistics, including preparation of shippingdocumentation, coordination of customs and regulatory requirements, and endtoendtracking of shipment readiness.
- Working knowledge of materialshipment preparation, including container selection, temperature control,conditioning methods, packing techniques, and order consolidation to supportcompliant distribution. Preferably experience with shipping pharmaceutical andbiologics material (no blood, pathogens or body fluidswe only ship referencestandards for testing other materials). Broad experience in cold chainshipments for use in GxP laboratory environments.
- Exposure to regulatedenvironments (GMP, GLP, or comparable academic or industry standards)preferred; demonstrated attention for detail and documentation accuracy.
- Basic experience with inventorymanagement, sample tracking, or data entry systems; familiarity with electronicdocumentation systems, LIMS, or similar data tools is a plus.
- Demonstrated ability to prepareclear, organized documentation and maintain accurate records to supportoperational, quality, and regulatory activities.
- Strong organizational andmultitasking skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meettimelines in a fastpaced, teamoriented environment.
- Effective verbal and writtencommunication skills, with the ability to communicate clearly with crossfunctionalpartners and follow directions from senior team members.
- Demonstrated professionalism,integrity, and a collaborative mindset, with willingness to learn, acceptfeedback, and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
Education/Experience/Licenses/Certifications:
- High school diploma or equivalentwith relevant experience required or BS/BA or Masters in logistics,procurement, supply chain, biological sciences, chemistry, engineering orrelated disciplines.
Physical Demands / WorkEnvironment:
- This is a support role forcommercial and clinical programs, including office work, teleconferencing,computer work, and attending meetings with regular time spent in controlledwork areas supporting shipping and logistics activities.
The starting hourly compensationfor this assignment is within the range of $31.38-$39.86/hr. Please note thatthe final individual compensation and any applicable benefits will bedetermined by your employer of record (and not the Client). Factors influencingthis decision may include the characteristics of the assignment, such asdemonstrated experience, required skill, and the geographic location of thejob. Compensation details are subject to change.
