What You’ll Be Doing
- Conduct routine quality control testing and inspection of concrete to ensure compliance with quality standards and specifications
- Support both field and laboratory operations through sampling, data collection, testing activities, and quality documentation
- Assist with maintaining testing equipment, tools, and an organized, safe work environment
- Collaborate with QC team members to troubleshoot and resolve quality-related concerns
- Travel locally to various job sites throughout the city using a company-provided vehicle
- Utilize quality control software and general computer systems to manage testing data and reporting
What We Are Looking For
- Previous experience with concrete, concrete testing, quality control, construction materials, or a related industrial environment strongly preferred
- Strong computer skills with the ability to learn and navigate internal systems and quality software
- High attention to detail and commitment to accurate testing, documentation, and data collection
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively across both field and laboratory environments
- Strong communication and organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities
- Comfortable traveling locally between sites and working occasional overtime and rotating Saturdays as business needs require
Work Environment
This role involves a combination of indoor laboratory work and outdoor fieldwork in varying weather conditions. The position may require standing for extended periods, lifting materials or equipment, and traveling to different site locations as needed. Safety training and protective equipment will be provided.
