The Advanced Solutions team within the 1LMX data workstream is hiring an A/AI machine Learning Engineer Staff to help develop our Generative AI products. The SEMPL solution is a groundbreaking effort to revolutionize Lockheed Martin's Software Engineering and Management Process (SEMP) and Systems Development Life Cycle (SDLC) using Generative AI and Data Science with application to the 1LMX deliverables. What You Will Be Doing:
In this role, you will play a critical role in transforming the way Lockheed Martin employees work by infusing Artificial Intelligence (AI) solutions into existing business processes.
You will contribute to the development of the 1LMX AI Acceleration Products that drive acceleration, inform data-driven decision making, and help the organization stay ahead of the curve. Some of the products for this role include working on ABAP coding agents for ERP. This role will provide you with a unique opportunity to learn and grow yourself while also mentoring and leading others in this exciting and constantly evolving space while making meaningful contributions to the team's efforts. You will be a part of the adoption process and iterate with continuous development, incorporating user feedback quickly and delivering for the fast-paced 1LMX scope.
Who You Are:
You are a motivated and enthusiastic engineer/full-stack developer with a strong foundation in software engineering, systems development, ABAP/UI5 and AI technologies with xperience developing in the SAP ecosystem (UI5, ABAP, BTP). With a start-up mentality and a growth mindset, you thrive in fast-paced environments, navigate ambiguity with ease, and are self-motivated to work independently.

Basic Qualifications:• Experience in software development, with a focus on full-stack engineering

• Comfort with version control systems (e.g., Github & Gitlab, SAP CTS)

Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
Pay Rate: The annual base salary range for this position in most major metropolitan areas in California, Massachusetts, and New York is $152,900 - $264,960. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate’s final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.
