Description:You will be the Industrial Electrician for the Industrial Services team. Our team is responsible for maintaining plant power systems, performing medium‑ and low‑voltage electrical installations, repairs, and maintenance that support new builds and existing facilities.
What You Will Be DoingAs the Industrial Electrician you will apply your commercial/industrial electrical expertise to install, service, and troubleshoot a wide range of plant equipment while ensuring compliance with the National Electrical Code (NEC) and NFPA standards.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Install, repair, and maintain medium‑ and low‑voltage power distribution, motor control centers, generators, transformers, ATS units, and lighting controls.
- Read and interpret electrical blueprints, schematics, and work orders to execute accurate installations and modifications.
- Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on motors, pumps, cranes, hoists, fire‑suppression sensors, solenoids, starters, and relays.
- Troubleshoot electrical faults, conduct root‑cause analysis, and execute repairs while observing NEC/NFPA compliance and hot‑work permits.
- Coordinate with Facility Services to prioritize work requests, schedule outages, and communicate status to stakeholders.

MUST BE A U.S. CITIZEN - This position is located at a facility that requires special access.
Basic Qualifications:• 5 years practical electrical (commercial/industrial) experience.
• Prior experience performing maintenance operations such as repairing and maintaining all electrical systems while maintaining NEC (National Electrical Code) and NFPA (National Fire Protection Association) compliance.
• Experience making changes to motor windings for directional, speed, and voltage drops and load requirements.
• Must be able to work with live voltages (up to 600 volts) with proper PPE in accordance with hot work permits.
• Must have the ability to work 1st or 2nd
shift in accordance with the collective bargaining
agreement.
• Due to facility requirements, all candidates must be U.S. Citizens to be considered
Desired Skills:• Strong math skills are required, as it will be needed to take measurements and work with electrical formulas.
• Must have the ability to read and work from blue
prints.
• Must have the ability to troubleshoot and make repairs (i.e.: generators, motors, transformers, energy management system lighting controls, ATS, motor control centers, food service equipment, cranes, hoists, dock equipment, compactors, pumps, electric doors, smog units, detectors, sensors, solenoids, switches, starters,
relays, etc.), working from service requests,
engineering drawings or work orders.

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 9x80 every other Friday off
