The Physician Executive, EHR Strategy & Customer Engagement is a cross-functional clinical and strategic leader responsible for shaping and advancing Oracle Health’s end-to-end EHR and clinical suite modernization strategy. Leveraging Oracle Health’s leadership in healthcare technology and the full capabilities of Oracle Fusion to connect clinical and enterprise operations, this role bridges strategic vision, product innovation, and executive customer engagement.
Success in this role requires exceptional executive presence, influence, and relationship-building skills. The Physician Executive must effectively engage and align stakeholders across a highly matrixed environment, including senior leaders, customers, product teams, engineering organizations, and cross-functional partners with varying levels of clinical, operational, and technical expertise. While this role may not always possess direct decision-making authority, it is expected to drive meaningful outcomes through credibility, strategic influence, collaboration, and trusted relationships.
The ideal candidate thrives in complex, fast-paced environments where priorities evolve rapidly and organizational dynamics require agility, resilience, and sound judgment. This individual demonstrates a low-ego, enterprise-first mindset, balancing advocacy with curiosity and collaboration, while maintaining a relentless focus on delivering measurable business and customer impact.
Be aware: This role requires up to 70% travel: Customers, Events, Internal onsite meetings etc.
Serving as a primary clinical advisor to senior health system stakeholders, the Physician Executive leads executive-level discussions, strategic alignment, and transition planning for Oracle Health’s cloud-based, AI-enabled EHR ecosystem. The role champions both clinician and patient needs while ensuring AI-driven solutions deliver measurable improvements in clinical quality, operational performance, financial outcomes, and user experience.
Drawing on customer engagement insights, market dynamics, industry trends, and competitive intelligence, this leader identifies strategic priorities and partners closely with product, engineering, and business teams to infuse clinical perspective into product strategy, design, and development. The Physician Executive also plays a critical role in strengthening customer relationships, guiding modernization initiatives, and positioning Oracle Health as the trusted partner for the future of healthcare delivery.
This role is designed for a physician leader who can create significant impact through influence rather than authority, build trusted relationships across all levels of the organization, navigate complex and evolving stakeholder environments with agility and humility, and consistently deliver results in high-visibility, high-stakes situations.
