Raytheon is seeking an experienced Material Program Manager (MPM) for Counter-Unmanned Aircraft System (C-UAS) programs with content built in the Advanced Products and Solutions (APS) factory. The successful candidate will demonstrate strong leadership as the material focal for the program, directly accountable for ensuring overall supply chain performance. This individual will be able to exert influence on objectives and long-range goals and metrics of the program. The MPM must be a self-starter, capable of developing and achieving organizational and program objectives, and must be able to successfully interface with all levels of internal and supplier management.
The successful candidate will have excellent written and oral communications skills and ability to lead efforts, and address issues and conflict resolution. The MPM will have the ability to balance between leading and implementing strategy for the program while also executing tactical activities.
This position is a hybrid role, and the selected applicant will work with the hiring manager to set schedule.
What You Will Do
-
Manage material risks and opportunities, reporting at both Customer and APC program level.

Interface with external customers and internal organization.

Develop and execute supply chain strategies and plans.
-
Create, manage, and execute material program strategy (MPS) and the material program plan (MPP).

Provide comprehensive Supply Chain support for Gates 0-11 activities and ensure compliance for the programs and tailoring when applicable.

Have overall ownership of the supplier management process including supplier performance, SCM metrics, Make/Buy Where strategy, strategic agreements, and communication of customer flow through requirements such as FAR/DFARS, ITAR, offset, public law, quality, warranty, etc.

Develop and lead supply chain proposal activities including task descriptions and basis of estimates.

Develop and execute risk/opportunity plans to meet program objectives.

Identify and develop opportunities for small business participation.

Monitor and proactively address performance and financial metrics including those related to cost, schedule, quality, and EVMS.

Develop and track budgets, targets, initiate and maintain accurate sales forecasts, short-range outlooks (SRO), material EACs, sales and operating Plans and Annual Operating Plans (AOP).

Act as the Control Account Manager (CAM) for material.

Flow down Supplier Management Best Practices to suppliers which include risk mitigation and subcontract management plans.

Working knowledge of PRISM/SAP.
Qualifications You Must Have
-
Typically requires: A University Degree or equivalent experience and minimum 5 years prior relevant experience, or An Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 3 years of experience.

Experience with supply chain and related systems, procurement, production control/material planning, receiving, cost estimating, logistics, and/or finance.

Experience working in an Integrated Product Team (IPT) environment.

Experience with Supplier management and/or Subcontract management.

Qualifications We Prefer
-
Work experience in Supply Chain and/or Engineering within the Aerospace Defense industry.

Strong financial acumen, including budget management and financial forecasting.

Experience with MRP Systems and/or tools such as SAP, PRISM and KINAXIS.

Knowledge of US Government acquisition laws and regulations.

Experience supporting/leading proposal efforts.

The salary range for this role is 86,800 USD - 165,200 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
