The Sr. Principal Technical Program Manager will be a key leader in Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) Operations, responsible for orchestrating mission-critical, cross-functional programs that ensure the stability, scalability, and continuous improvement of OCI’s operational environment. You will partner with engineering, product, security, support, and business teams to deliver high-impact projects and operational excellence at scale. The ideal candidate demonstrates deep technical program management expertise, a robust understanding of large-scale cloud operations, and a track record of driving results in fast-paced, global organizations.
Internal Responsibilities
Lead the end-to-end execution of complex, cross-functional programs that drive operational resilience, service reliability, and efficiency within OCI.
Develop detailed program plans encompassing timelines, deliverables, dependencies, and resource allocation across large distributed teams.
Technical Leadership: Translate business requirements into technical solutions, make informed trade-off decisions, and facilitate technical discussions across teams.
Proactively identify, track, and mitigate program risks and dependencies, ensuring cross-team transparency and communication.
Foster a culture of continuous improvement by implementing operational best practices, automation initiatives, and process optimizations.
Facilitate critical meetings and program reviews, providing clear, data-driven program status and actionable updates to leadership and stakeholders.
Stakeholder Management: Serve as the primary liaison between engineering, product, QA, operations, and business stakeholders, ensuring alignment and transparent communication.
Issue & Risk Management: Identify project risks and challenges, drive resolution of technical and organizational blockers, and escalate issues as required.
Mentor and support junior program/project managers, championing operational excellence and program management discipline within the OCI Operations organization.
