Overview
This position is responsible for operating, maintaining, and performing repairs on assigned HVAC and Refrigeration equipment and controls, chilled water systems, boilers, and various other mechanical, electrical and building systems in such manner as to ensure optimal client relations.
Position Summary
We are seeking a skilled and experienced HVAC Technician II to join our Raleigh, NC team. This role focuses primarily on commercial service work, with some installation responsibilities. The ideal candidate will be well-versed in troubleshooting, calibrating, and repairing HVAC systems across a variety of equipment types and tonnage ranges.

Responsibilities
- Troubleshoot, calibrate, and repair HVAC components including thermostats, burners, transformers, controls, RTUs, chillers, boilers, mini splits
- Use tools such as multimeters and refrigerant gauges
- Perform both service and installation work, with a preference for service-heavy experience
- Travel to multiple client sites throughout Raleigh, NC and the surrounding Research Triangle area (not assigned to a single location)
- Participate in monthly safety meetings and occasional project briefings
- Receive daily dispatches and operate from a company-provided vehicle
Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years in HVAC, with at least 3 years in commercial/Industrial environments
- High school diploma or GED required
- EPA 608 certification
- Ability to work on systems ranging from 20 to 100+ tons.
- Strong communication, professionalism, and ability to work independently
Preferred Background:
- Associates degree or Certifications in HVAC
- Candidates with blended experience in residential and commercial HVAC will be considered, but commercial experience is prioritized
- Familiarity with a variety of systems including RTUs, chillers, boilers, and mini splits
- Demonstrated stability and growth in previous roles
- Ability to work autonomously upon onboarding completion
