Raytheon is seeking a dynamic quality leader driving end‑to‑end assurance for complex aerospace programs. Expert in AS9100 compliance, risk‑based decision‑making, and seamless delivery across design, fabrication, EO/IR integration, and testing. Trusted Quality CAM skilled in building competitive bids and managing contract deliverables with DCMA. Strengthens supply chain performance and partners cross‑functionally to deliver fast, impactful quality improvements that boost reliability and customer confidence. This position will be located ONSITE, in Westford, MA.
What You Will Do
-
Serve as the primary Quality focal for pod‑based ISR systems, ensuring compliance, reliability, and execution across multiple customer programs.

Oversee full lifecycle quality assurance, including structural design, fabrication, complex sensor (EO/IR) integration, testing, and contract delivery.

Drive AS9100 QMS compliance and quality performance using risk‑based decision‑making to address customer notifications and process deviations.

Act as Quality Cost Account Manager (CAM), developing bid estimates for new programs through Bid Master Web (BMW).

Review and manage contract deliverables, coordinating with internal teams and external stakeholders such as DCMA for product acceptance.

Identify and address supplier quality issues, ensuring proper containment and communication with the Supplier Quality Management team.

Collaborate with cross‑functional teams and program leadership to define, implement, and sustain quality improvement initiatives.

Qualifications You Must Have
-
Typically requires a University Degree or equivalent experience and minimum 5 years prior relevant experience, or a Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 3 years’ experience

Experience with Quality Management Systems (ISO 9001, AS9100, AS9102).

Experience in failure analysis, root cause analysis, and corrective/preventive actions.

Proficient in interpreting technical drawings and reviewing technical data packages.

Strong command of quality tools (Pareto analysis, cause‑and‑effect diagrams, process mapping).

Qualifications We Prefer
-
Previous experience with optical ISR systems.

Experience with CORE framework or other Continuous Improvement Programs.

Working experience using resources such as Process Mapping/Analysis, Lean Six Sigma, Red X.

Experience with industry technical standards, interpreting drawings, work instructions, Bill of Materials (BOMs), consumable materials control, process disciplines and tool control.

Experience with Advanced Product Quality Planning (APQP)/AS9145 and utilizing resources such as Production Part Approval Process (PPAP), Key Characteristics, Design Failure Modes, and Effects Analysis (DFMEA), Production Failure Modes and Effects Analysis (PFMEA) and/or Control Plans.

Ability to comprehend and translate system requirements as well as contractual requirements to ensure full compliance is flowed down through product, assembly, and test documentation.

Ability to work as an individual contributor and in a dynamic team environment.

Effective interpersonal skills and ability to work well with customers, suppliers, within a team environment.

The salary range for this role is 86,800 USD - 165,200 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
