Your Role And Responsibilities
Brand Technical Specialist, IBM Corporation, Armonk, NY and various unanticipated client sites throughout the US:
- Deliver presales solution design and technical validation for AI (watsonx); business intelligence (Cognos Analytics, Planning Analytics, OpenPages); and automation (Cloud Pak for Business Automation; IBM Business Automation Workflow; IBM Robotic Process Automation; IBM ODM (Operational Decision Manager) platforms.
- Deliver compelling technical demonstrations and proofs-of-concept to prospective clients.
- Act as a subject matter expert on AI models, business intelligence, financial planning, and automation for sales engagements.
- Advise clients on strategic adoption of Agentic AI/GenAI and intelligent automation to solve business challenges and drive innovation.
- Create pre-sales technical enablement for sales teams on the latest features and competitive advantages of AI and automation portfolio.
- Support customers across the sales cycle and assist with Request for Proposal (RFP)/Request for Information (RFI) and other technical questionnaires.
- Build and deliver custom demonstrations, MVP’s and POC’s to clients within finance and healthcare industries highlighting the company’s collaborative Data and AI capabilities.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, such as product management, engineering, and sales, to ensure an accurate understanding of platform capabilities and value propositions.
- Utilize: Watsonx, IBM Cloud, AWS, Python, SQL, PostgreSQL, Linux/Windows OS.
Required: Master’s degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering or related (employer will accept a Bachelor's degree plus five (5) years of progressive experience in lieu of a Master’s degree) and one (1) year of experience as a Software Technical Specialist, Data Engineer or related. One (1) year of experience must include utilizing Watsonx, IBM Cloud, AWS, Python, SQL, PostgreSQL, Linux/Windows OS. $182208 per year. Full time. D162.
Required Technical And Professional Expertise
