Overview
The National Business Development Manager – Enterprise Solutions leads sales and technical strategy for complex, sustainability-focused solutions, including microgrids, eMobility, power, and energy efficiency. This role drives growth across regional facilities by identifying opportunities, developing strategies, and cross‑selling ABM services such as mechanical, electrical, lighting, and facility engineering. Responsibilities include ensuring program quality, managing financial performance (P&L, A/R, work orders), resolving issues, and delivering strong client presentations.
Pay: $105,000 - $150,000
The pay listed is the salary range for this position. Any specific offer will vary based on the successful applicant’s education, experience, skills, abilities, geographic location, and alignment with market data.

Responsibilities
Essential Function:
- Create and build long term relationships with prospective and new ABM Technical Solutions accounts by establishing strategic and actionable plans to grow revenue, improve retention and increase profit
- Shows a strong vertical process expertise and manufacturing perspective by understating existing manufacturing processes and identifying key enablers to improve process efficiencies.
- Understands the synergies between microgrids, battery storage, solar, energy efficiency and the services required to support the customers’ sites.
- Has basic working knowledge of facility-related aspects (e.g., HVAC, air compressor, pumps, chillers, etc.).
- Has basic working knowledge of mechanical, electrical, pneumatic and hydraulic systems.
- Has extensive knowledge around microgrids and the power required to run eMobility
- Easily demonstrates critical thinking, problem solving, attention to detail, decision making and troubleshooting within a manufacturing environment.
- Demonstrates understanding of battery cell manufacturing process.
- Understands good manufacturing principles (GMP) to develop efficient and streamlined facility solutions.
- Ability to manage large complex customers with multiple decision makers and stakeholders.
- Understands CMMS systems, reports on maintenance costs, PM effectiveness, labor hours and operating budgets.
- Understands downtime maintenance activities for condition-based repairs and Preventative and Predictive Maintenance strategies.
- Solutions focused on ESG (environmental, social and governance) goals of the organization.
- Has financial expertise and can communicate life cycle analysis of a capital project.
- Has the ability to drive complex sales across multiple geographies incorporating multiple Industry Groups as necessary.
- Utilize Salesforce.com to manage sales pipelines, produce effective sales forecasts, and manage account management plans
Qualifications
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in technical field preferred or equivalent level of professional experience.
- Must be a forward-thinking technology leader offering a passion and commitment for designing and developing a customer strategy and plans to drive required financial results.
- Has extensive knowledge around microgrids and the power required to run eMobility
- Microgrid related experience necessary.
- Ability to identify, secure and manage large complex and national customers with multiple decision makers and stakeholders, including C-Suite
- 10+ years of relevant professional experience.
- Professional license, such as a PE, is a plus.
- Minimum of 4 years of major account experience.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in the services sector.
- Technical aptitude and skills in one or more of the following disciplines including HVAC, mechanical, resiliency, microgrid, power and/or EV solutions.
