About The Role
As a CBRE Workplace Experience Supervisor, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring a world-class customer service experience for clients and visitors within a designated building on a vibrant campus. You will be responsible for supervising a dedicated team that oversees the seamless delivery of comprehensive workplace experience services. This role is integral to fostering an environment where employees and guests feel welcomed, supported, and engaged, contributing to the overall success and positive perception of the workplace. While based at one specific building, this role operates within a larger campus environment of 13 buildings.
What You'll Do
- Coordinate and manage the daily activities of the Workplace Experience team, including establishing work schedules, assigning tasks, and facilitating cross-training to ensure comprehensive coverage and skill development.
- Supervise and lead a team of three direct reports: a Receptionist/Office Coordinator, a Shipper/Receiver, and an Event Coordinator.
- Establish new techniques and implement best practices to ensure the team consistently meets its objectives and delivers exceptional service.
- Oversee a wide range of employee services, including supporting wellness centers, managing scheduling, and coordinating vendors.
- Manage and prioritize internal ticketing systems for work orders, ensuring timely resolution and high standards of facility upkeep.
- Coordinate and execute numerous event setups, managing logistics, vendor coordination, and ensuring smooth event delivery.
- Handle mailroom responsibilities, ensuring efficient processing and distribution.
- Address and resolve complex problems, identifying appropriate solutions to accomplish team and customer objectives.
- Support the operational aspects of the facilities, ensuring a safe, secure, and efficiently managed environment.
- Maintain accurate records of costs incurred by workplace team activities and review invoices as needed.
- Develop and maintain strategic vendor partnerships with a focus on cost-saving initiatives and assist with contract negotiations.
- Confirm that all vendors possess current proof of insurance and necessary contractual documentation.
- Serve as a primary point of contact, responding promptly and professionally to customer requests and complaints related to experience services.
- Approve client materials, ensuring strict adherence to brand guidelines and maintaining the integrity of databases and digital tools associated with service delivery.
- Deliver a world-class orientation experience to new employees, setting a positive tone for their journey with the company.
- Consistently enforce safety standards with employees, clients, and vendors, promoting a secure workplace environment.
- Assist in the completion and ongoing maintenance of the Service Business Continuity plan.
- Has a direct impact on the team objectives as well as the objectives of related teams.
- Ensure personal and team outcomes have a positive impact on customer objectives.
- Lead by example and model behaviors that are consistent with CBRE RISE values. Guide team through the application of basic knowledge of practices and procedures. Work to build consensus.
What You’ll Need
- High School Diploma or GED with 3+ years of supervisory-related experience.
- In-depth understanding of a range of processes, procedures, systems, and concepts within own job function and basic knowledge of related job functions required.
- Requires the ability to explain complex concepts or sensitive information.
- Expert knowledge of Microsoft Office products. Examples include Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.
- Excellent organizational skills with a master-level inquisitive mindset.

CBRE carefully considers multiple factors to determine compensation, including a candidate’s education, training, and experience. The minimum salary for the Workplace Experience Supervisor position is $79,000 annually [or $37.98 per hour] and the maximum salary for the Workplace Experience Supervisor position is $80,000 annually [or $38.46 per hour]. The compensation that is offered to a successful candidate will depend on the candidate’s skills, qualifications, and experience. Successful candidates will also be eligible for a discretionary bonus based on CBRE’s applicable benefit program.
