Responsibilities
- Greet customers warmly and provide exceptional customer service throughout their shopping experience
- Assist shoppers with product information, demonstrations, and upselling opportunities to enhance their purchase decisions
- Operate the point-of-sale (POS) system accurately for cashiering and cash handling duties
- Stock shelves, organize merchandise, and ensure displays are attractive and well-maintained in accordance with merchandising standards
- Manage inventory by stocking new products and conducting regular stock checks to keep the store organized
- Handle phone inquiries professionally, providing information about products or store policies with clear communication skills
- Support sales initiatives by promoting featured products and conducting product demos to engage customers effectively
Skills
- Experience with POS systems and cash handling procedures to ensure accurate transactions
- Positive customer service experience
- Ability to perform retail math calculations confidently for pricing, discounts, and inventory management
- Strong communication skills in both verbal and written forms; bilingual abilities are a plus for serving diverse customers
