Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Pharmacy Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in a pharmacy setting. This role is essential for ensuring the safe and effective delivery of medications to patients, while providing exceptional patient service and care. The Pharmacy Technician will work closely with pharmacists and healthcare professionals to support medication administration.
Responsibilities
- Assist pharmacists in preparing and dispensing medications, including IV infusions, while adhering to aseptic techniques.
- Conduct medication intake processes, ensuring accurate patient information is collected and documented.
- Provide excellent patient service by answering inquiries and addressing concerns regarding medications and treatment plans.
- Maintain accurate records of medication administration and patient care activities.
- Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes through effective medication management.
- Utilize medical terminology to communicate effectively with healthcare professionals.
- Support inventory management by monitoring stock levels of medications and supplies.
- Participate in quality assurance activities to uphold safety standards within the pharmacy.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $19.00 - $22.00 per hour
