This is your chance to be part of the next generation Strategy, Insights, and Analytics team of internal consultants to all teams across Hilton! The team ensures that Hilton's strategy and customer experience are informed by analytics and customer insights combining technical talent with industry expertise to guide progress towards Hilton's goals. As Senior Analyst, Brand Analytics
,you will support Hilton's Customers, Brands, Marketing, Digital, Revenue, and Strategy organizations, with special support for the executive leadership team. On the Brand Analytics team, you will report to the Senior Manager, Brand Analytics. Your responsibilities will include supporting projects such as new brand creation, the launch of new brand initiatives, and brands performance analysis. Additionally, you will be responsible for monthly and quarterly reporting for Hilton and performance versus its competitors.
What You'll Do During a Typical Day
- Conduct analysis to identify business opportunities for the Brands organization to improve performance. Analysis will rely on skills with Tableau, MicroStrategy, Excel, SQL, R, and Alteryx.
- Develop presentations and reporting that present analysis to effectively lead change and performance improvement.
- Utilize MicroStrategy, Excel, and Alteryx to build standard reporting, dashboards, and metrics, ensuring alignment between the Brands and Commercial organizations for major data, reporting, and dashboarding projects, and work with the data architecture and BI teams on requirements gathering through delivery.
- Multitask across the Brands organization and compassionately prioritize, understanding the common threads among the brands, but also their unique differences.
- Analyze P&L data across brands to identify areas for Owner Profitability.
How You'll Collaborate With Others
- Integrate with the teams within the Brand organization to provide analytics that identify actionable insights.
- Support the Senior Manager of Brand Analytics, and the VP of Customer Insights & Analytics on additional initiatives and analysis, including the Quarterly Business Review, which supports Hilton's Executive Committee.
Projects You'll Take Ownership Of
- Various brand or brand division level analysis that support Hilton brands' performance, maintain our competitive advantage, and identify growth opportunities.
- Quarterly Comparison Review reporting which includes performance comparisons for Hilton against the Industry and Competitors.
What It Takes to Make the Stay
You Have These Minimum Qualifications
- Three (3) years of professional work experience in an Analytics function
- Advanced experience with Tableau, SQL, R or Python
- Advanced experience with Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, vlookups, etc)
- Experience creating leadership ready presentations in PowerPoint
- Hybrid schedule from McLean, VA
It Would Be Useful If You Have
- Alteryx and MicroStrategy experience
- Hospitality experience
