Your Responsibilities
As a Senior Administrative Assistant at John Deere Financial (JDF) in Johnston, Iowa, you will provide administrative support to the President, John Deere Financial and several members of the Senior Leadership Team. You will serve as a trusted business partner—operating with a high degree of autonomy, discretion, and professionalism, managing complex priorities, enabling decision-making, and driving seamless execution. In addition, you will:
- Provide high-level executive support to the President and select Senior Leadership Team members, managing complex calendars with full authority to prioritize, accept, and decline engagements
- Anticipate executive needs and proactively prepare briefings, materials, and meeting agendas
- Serve as a primary point of contact for internal and external stakeholders, ensuring effective communication and coordination
- Provides meeting & Board support. Coordinates executive-level meetings, leadership forums, and board-related activities; develops and organizes presentations, communications, and materials for internal and external audiences
- Manage highly sensitive information and leadership matters with exceptional discretion, professionalism, and sound judgment
- Support strategic initiatives, leadership transitions, and special projects, ensuring alignment with business priorities
- Coordinate domestic and international travel, including complex logistics and executive-level itineraries
- Partner across JDF and enterprise administrative networks to align priorities, enhance efficiency, and provide informal guidance across administrative teams
- Manage expense reporting and supporting documentation with a high degree of accuracy and timeliness
- Support enterprise communications, including leadership messaging and organizational updates
- Maintain files, records, and critical documentation with strict adherence to confidentiality standards
- Lead complex meetings, events, and logistics coordination across multiple stakeholders

What Skills You Need
- Proven experience supporting senior executives (VP, SVP, President, or equivalent)
- Ability to handle multiple projects and independently prioritize, make decisions, and respond on behalf of an executive leader
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with executive presence
- High attention to detail, accuracy, and follow-through
- Demonstrated ability to manage sensitive and confidential information
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel, Word)
- Ability to maintain multiple calendars and schedules
