The Sr. Analyst, EH&S Generalist will work with the Columbus Engine Center EH&S team, and act as a partner in EH&S by formulating and administering EH&S plans and procedures including EH&S Program Management.

Partner with the leadership team and line supervision to ensure EH&S regulatory compliance with Federal, State and Local regulations and adherence to P&W procedures and RTX EH&S Standard Practices.

Identify health & safety hazards and controls to mitigate risks.
-
Assist the EH&S team with tracking implementation of EH&S initiatives and projects across the organization.

Gather data on open items from PW sites on Safety, Health, and Risk Reduction metrics or projects.
-
Support implementation of the Pratt & Whitney EH&S Management system.
-
Organize and maintain assigned EH&S policies to achieve and maintain compliance with regulations.

Participate in the site EH&S Council.

Conduct safety inspections and analyze audit findings to develop corrective actions and achieve and maintain safe work practices.

Developing and implementing environmental compliance protocols, such as data reporting requirements/methodology to encourage consistent and compliant behavior for site.

Collaborate with EH&S Management to include Legal, consultants, and regulatory services to review and interpret EH&S regulations.

Collaborating with site professionals to address environmental compliance issues.

Conduct training/educational programs to ensure compliance with EHS regulations, focusing on the safe handling, storage, and disposal of materials to prevent pollution and hazards.

Performing tasks associated with sites compliance as a member of the Sites EH&S team.

Support EH&S Compliance Assurance audits by RTX, Pratt & Whitney, or regulatory agencies for assigned programs.

Develop and manage compliance strategies to minimize and mistake proof regulatory compliance risks, including onsite visual inspections and audits.

Conducting Environment Health and Safety inspections and analyzing audit findings to develop corrective actions and achieve and maintain safe work practices.

Investigating events to identify root causes and develop corrective actions.

Developing and implementing strategic EH&S initiatives and coordinates/drives the necessary tactical resources/elements to achieve and maintain successful implementation.

Maintain accurate records of inspections, permits, reports, and corrective actions.

Develop and support corporate, third-party audits, inspections, and regulatory inspections.

Monitor regulatory changes and communicate changes to site leadership.
Qualifications You Must Have:
-
Bachelor’s Degree in Occupational Safety, Environmental Sciences, Engineering, or other Sciences or Health field or equivalent experience and minimum 2 years of prior relevant experience, or An Advanced Degree in a related field.

Experience with Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.)

Experience working with OSHA, Federal and State regulations.

The salary range for this role is 68,900 USD - 131,100 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
