Job Title: Workplace Host
CBREGlobal Workplace Solutions is a leading global provider of integratedfacilities and corporate real estate management. We are recruiting a Workplace Host to join the team located in
Epsom, Surrey.
Role Summary
- Ownership of officefloors and the surrounding areas to ensure the best workplace experience is meteach day
- Greets employees andannounces clients, applicants, and visitors. Conducts guest registrationthrough badging software. Arranges escorts as needed. Issues visitor passes andvalidates parking
- Maintains neatappearance reception area, conference rooms café and other common areas.Requests building and housekeeping services as needed. Periodically inspectscommon area equipment to ensure good operating condition. Arranges equipment service as needed.
- Assists the WorkplaceExperience Team and CBRE community with general administrative supportincluding all mail services, event management, desk booking, bike lockermanagement, etc. Requests buildingand/or equipment services as needed.
- Assists with the CBREcommunity on-boarding process, including new employee orientation, training,equipment and software ordering – workflow assistance and welcoming proceduresand first day orientation management.
- Collaborate with IT,Maintenance, Cleaning, Helpdesk teams to ensure that issues are proactivelyreported and addressed in line with procedures.
- Full JD can be providedupon application.
ExperienceRequired
- A minimum of 1 - 2 yearsrelated experience (e.g. Front Desk, Concierge, Hospitality, Room Management,or Customer Service roles) is preferred.
- Advanced communication skillswith the ability to effectively present information to an internal departmentand/or large groups of employees.
- Experience in facilitiesmanagement and/or dealing with suppliers/contractors beneficial.
- Ability to solve problems anddeal with a variety of options in complex situations.
