The Memory & Storage Operations Analyst is responsible for driving supplier qualification, sourcing strategy, and operational excellence across critical memory and storage technologies, including SSDs, HDDs, DRAM, and NAND products. This role serves as a key liaison between Engineering, Product Management, Supply Chain, Finance, and Strategic Sourcing teams to ensure a reliable, cost-effective, and scalable supply base that supports business growth and product roadmap requirements.
The ideal candidate combines strong analytical capabilities, supply chain expertise, and business acumen to manage supplier performance, monitor market and cost trends, mitigate supply risks, and implement process improvements. This individual will operate effectively in highly complex and ambiguous environments, demonstrating sound judgment, proactive problem-solving, and a passion for continuous improvement.
Internal Responsibilities
- Drive qualification and onboarding of new suppliers for memory and storage technologies, including SSDs, HDDs, DRAM, NAND, and related infrastructure components.
- Partner with Engineering, Quality, and Product Management teams to evaluate supplier capabilities, technical compliance, and long-term sourcing strategies.
- Develop and maintain a robust, competitive, and resilient supply base to support current and future business requirements.
- Monitor supplier performance, capacity, lead times, and risk factors to ensure continuity of supply.
- Track and analyze memory and storage component pricing, market trends, technology transitions, and supply-demand dynamics.
- Conduct cost reviews and present recommendations to Sourcing Management, Business Unit leaders, and Finance teams.
- Support budgeting, forecasting, and cost reduction initiatives through data-driven analysis and supplier engagement.
- Identify opportunities to optimize total cost of ownership while maintaining quality and supply continuity.
