Responsibilities
- Utilize the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care
- Initiate and manage plans of care, collaborating with physicians and care teams as patient needs evolve
- Deliver therapeutic, preventive, and rehabilitative nursing interventions
- Monitor patient condition and respond to changes appropriately, reporting updates to physicians or supervisors
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed and document patient response
- Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation
- Identify opportunities for patient/family education, care coordination, goal setting, and discharge planning
Requirements
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of practice
- Current Health Certificate (per contract or state requirement)
- Current PPD test or Chest X-ray
- Valid BLS (Basic Life Support) certification
- 1+ year of RN experience preferred
