We are seeking an experienced and strategic marketing leader to lead JLL's Central U.S. marketing. They will work with business leadership on their market-specific goals to develop client driven stories, messaging and campaigns to the market and help leverage the global campaigns by localizing them. By fusing client and audience driven marketing programs with local proof points, products, and processes the role will supercharge our demand generation, brand and client engagement.
The successful candidate will need to strategize with senior business leaders to ensure there is agreement and clear priorities that will drive revenue and margin growth. A strong understanding of the business lines, product offerings and current trends is critical to make decisions about where marketing can best move the needle for the business.
We're looking for a strategic marketing leader who can both architect the local vision using centralized plans and drive execution, ensuring our marketing efforts are always in service to our broader business goals.
Key Responsibilities
- Partner with executive leadership to translate business objectives into comprehensive marketing strategies that drive growth, market share, and revenue targets
- Develop annual marketing plan with clearly defined KPIs that align with company financial and business goals
- Set, manage and monitor the marketing budget to agreed levels with the business stakeholders as well as global marketing leadership
- Orchestrate cohesive marketing campaigns across multiple channels that reinforce our brand positioning and value proposition
- Direct the development of lead generation programs and campaigns that deliver qualified prospects to the sales pipeline
- Ensure centralized brand campaigns fit into the local marketing plan and are presented to and understood by the local executive leadership and the business teams
- Manage external public relations agency and in conjunction with JLL's national communications teams and local leadership, support the region's proactive public relations and social media programs through content creation, media relations, and leadership positioning
- Provide design direction and collaborate with internal teams in the planning and execution of prospecting materials pre-point of sale in both print and digital format
- Be responsible for hitting agreed KPIs
- Coordinate with global digital team based on the business needs for targeting
- Align social networks to suit the local needs, fostering and spreading a digital culture
- Assess the participation in local real estate conferences, awards, speaking engagements and events
- Organization of ad hoc client and prospect events and trainings
- Innovate and improve our marketing programs by researching and applying new ideas and industry best practices to our efforts
- Partner with JLL's sales teams to strategize, plan and execute high-performing programs that differentiate the business and support the growth of the business
- Analyze market trends, competitive landscape, and customer insights to inform strategic direction
Qualifications:
To be successful in this role, the candidate will need:
- Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Advertising, Communications, Business, or another relevant field
- Minimum 15 years of related work experience, with emphasis on marketing within the professional services realm; commercial real estate industry experience a strong plus
- Proven track record of developing marketing strategies that deliver measurable business results
- Experience managing integrated marketing programs
- Excellence in cross-functional collaboration and executive communication
- Strong executive presence to successfully influence senior leaders across the JLL business to deliver the business line and regional marketing strategy
- Strategic thinking to drive alignment and consistency across different marketing plans and needs
- Commercial acumen and ability to prioritise spend based on a variety of factors including opportunity, audience dynamics, promotional mechanics and the return on marketing investment
- Outstanding leadership skills; a leader with a clear vision and the ability to motivate and inspire cross-functional teams to deliver success
- To be comfortable with change and has the necessary skillset to drive change management in the business
- Good working knowledge of MS Word, Canva, PowerPoint, Excel required
- Strong digital skills with ability to master new technologies
- Impeccable attention to detail
- High level of resourcefulness
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced work environment with demanding work loads
- Positive, can-do attitude

Estimated compensation for this position:
125,000.00 – 170,000.00 USD per year
This range is an estimate and actual compensation may differ. Final compensation packages are determined by various considerations including but not limited to candidate qualifications, location, market conditions, and internal considerations.
