Description:WHAT WE'RE DOINGThe F-35 Sustainment team is responsible for supporting the global Product Support Provider Network (PSPn), ensuring the world's most advanced fighter aircraft remains mission-ready through effective subcontract management, supplier partnerships, and sustainment operations. Our team supports both domestic and international sustainment requirements across a complex network of suppliers and service providers.
THE WORKAs a Subcontract Administrator, you will provide procurement and subcontract management support for F-35 Sustainment. Responsibilities include implementing and managing CONUS and OCONUS sustainment contracts, developing subcontract specifications and Statements of Work (SOWs), preparing bid packages, administering repair and return contracts, conducting bidder conferences, developing supplier evaluation criteria, evaluating subcontractor proposals, negotiating terms and conditions, issuing subcontract awards, and ensuring compliance throughout the contract lifecycle. Travel may be required approximately 10–20% of the time based on program needs.

WHO YOU AREYou are a detail-oriented subcontract or procurement professional who excels in a fast-paced environment. You have experience managing supplier relationships, negotiating contractual agreements, evaluating proposals, and administering contracts from award through closeout. You possess strong communication, analytical, and organizational skills and are comfortable working across multiple stakeholders and international environments.

Basic Qualifications:Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or equivalent experience/combined education.
• Experience administering subcontracts, purchase orders, supplier agreements, or procurement activities in a commercial, aerospace, defense, or government contracting environment.
• Experience developing statements of work (SOWs), reviewing supplier proposals, and supporting contract negotiations.
• Experience managing supplier performance, contract execution, and issue resolution throughout the procurement lifecycle.
• Experience working with cross-functional teams including Program Management, Supply Chain, Engineering, Quality, and Finance.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
Desired Skills:Experience working with and managing supplier relationships
• Maintain customer/supplier relationships
• Experience working repairs/calibrations and or F-35 maintainer experience
• Experience with Lean and continuous improvement tools
• Negotiation and technical experience, related to product and supply chain
• Experience working in Procure to Pay (P2P)

Ability to Work Remotely: Part-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
