Responsibilities
Here’s Some of What You’ll Do
- Install, maintain, repair, test, and troubleshoot HVAC and refrigeration systems and components at customer sites
- Execute work based on project plans, drawings, specifications, and company standards
- Support project execution including start-ups, inspections, punch-list completion, and closeout activities
- Diagnose and resolve routine to moderately complex mechanical and HVAC system issues; escalate advanced concerns as needed
- Perform pipefitting tasks, including work with Victaulic grooved piping systems and basic welding (where applicable)
- Maintain accurate records of work performed, materials used, time, and service documentation
- Ensure all work meets quality, safety, and cleanliness standards
- Communicate professionally with customers, team members, vendors, and project teams
- Support jobsite organization, material handling, equipment staging, and inventory tracking
- Review completed work for accuracy and quality
- Provide guidance to entry-level technicians when needed
- Follow all company safety policies, site requirements, and regulations
Qualifications
Here Is Who We Are Looking For
Required
- High school diploma, GED, or equivalent
- 4+ years of experience in industrial/commercial HVAC or refrigeration installation and troubleshooting
- EPA Universal Certification
- Strong working knowledge of HVAC systems, tools, equipment, and safety practices
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and technical documents
- Proven troubleshooting skills for routine to moderately complex systems
- Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel up to 50%
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
- Excellent communication skills and team-oriented mindset
Preferred
- Trade school training, apprenticeship, or relevant technical certification
- Experience as a mechanical installer or pipefitter, with basic welding capabilities
- Experience with Victaulic Grooved Piping Systems
- Familiarity with multiple HVAC brands and systems
