The Role
We are hiring an Engineering Apprentice to support hands-on work across our manufacturing facility. This is a ground-floor opportunity to learn directly from experienced engineers and technicians while contributing to real production. If you are a transitioning service member with mechanical aptitude, a strong work ethic, and a desire to build a career in aerospace and defense, we want to talk to you.
You will rotate through key areas of our operation, develop technical skills on the job, and grow into a specialized role based on your strengths and interest.
What You'll Do
• Support assembly, fabrication, and general manufacturing tasks across the facility
• Assist engineers and technicians with builds, inspections, and testing activities
• Handle parts, materials, and tooling with care and attention to proper procedures
• Follow work instructions, standard operating procedures, and safety protocols
• Help maintain a clean, organized, and FOD-free work environment
• Learn to read and interpret basic engineering drawings and documentation
• Participate in continuous improvement efforts and flag issues as they arise
• Take on increasing responsibility over time as skills and familiarity develop
What We're Looking For
• Prior U.S. military service; any branch or MOS welcome
• Mechanical aptitude and comfort working with tools and hardware
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to doing things the right way
• Ability to follow direction, ask good questions, and operate safely
• Team-first mentality and a bias toward action
• Reliable, on time, and ready to work
• Interest in aerospace, autonomous systems, or defense technology is a plus
Bonus Points
• Experience with hand tools, power tools, or precision instruments
• Background in aviation maintenance, ordnance, electronics, or logistics
• Any exposure to manufacturing, fabrication, or assembly environments
• Active or eligible for a U.S. security clearance
