The company is seeking a dynamic individual to join a motivated team of materials management and supply chain professionals. This individual is expected to efficiently manage materials buying activities for cell therapy network including, purchase order confirmation/placement, maintenance of promise delivery time, collaborating with procurement to update purchase order pricing, resolve invoice discrepancies to ensure on time payment to suppliers, and collaboration with internal and external partners. Leveraging the cell therapy network, this position will make use of existing innovations and future technologies to support supply demand.
Key Responsibilities
- Joining a team of highly qualified materials management and supply chain professionals, this individual will provide expert knowledge on materials management strategies, develop purchase order strategies, monitor POs and invoices, maintain supplier relationships, and maintain on time delivery of inventory to support cell therapy network.
- Drive resolution with both internal and external stakeholders of inventory receipts including but not limited to missing paperwork, misalignment in receiving paperwork, misalignment in purchase order quantity, damaged or incorrect quantity shipments.
- Independently lead programs and process robustness in materials buying standard work measurements, collaborating with stakeholders to enhance site processes, procedures, and tools.
- Support the invoice payment process by providing background on missing goods receipts through proof of delivery documentation from supplier.
- Collaborate with global planners on adjustment of purchase orders to drive inventory efficiency.
- Manage all order management activities and analysis, including but not limited to open order calls, supplier relationship building, inventory management, warehouse receipt flow, and confirmation of open orders. Develop and define performance metrics for all raw material receipt flow and identify cost savings opportunities.
- Reinforce standard work measurements for all internal order management activities and across team. Demonstrate a continuous improvement mindset that enables the supply chain for rapid scale growth with high value and high-volume raw materials in a regulated environment.
- Lead local and global material life cycle procedures by ensuring material availability and master data accuracy.
- Work cohesively with cross-functional teams in support of operational efficiency, flexibility, and assurance of purchase order placement and material availability. Collaborate on process improvements by maintaining open communication with all teams and fostering an environment of cooperation in which to achieve shared goals.

Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelors required.
- Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience with materials management and/or supply chain within cGMP operations.
- Proficiency in ERP systems (I.e., Oracle, SAP, QAD)
- Knowledge of federal regulations for Quality Systems (21CFR820) and GMP manufacturing (21CFR 210,211).
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to work well in a team environment with a positive attitude that is willing to assist other areas of the organization.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills as well as strong focus and attention to detail.
- Ability to perform frequent physical tasks with strength and mobility. Daily tasks call for routine walking and standing and occasional lifting of heavy materials.
- Demonstrate ability to handle multiple tasks at one time and maintain a strong attention to detail.
- Independent and self-starting.
- Eager and adaptable.
- Flexible scheduling required.
