MANTECH seeks a motivated, career and customer-oriented
Program Security Officer 1 PSO 1 to join our team in
Las Cruces, NM.
Responsibilities Include, But Are Not Limited To
- Assisting with a range of security issues and concerns to government and program security officers in different geographical locations
- Developing skills in classification management, program security, information systems security, personnel security, contract, and physical security to guide customers and industry partners
- Supporting briefings and indoctrinations to a variety of audiences
- Aiding the preparation of recommendations on current security issues for program security decisions to Directorate and Office Directors of Security, Program Managers, and Directorate leadership
- Domestic Travel and OCONUS up to 25%
Minimum Qualifications
- HS Diploma and 3 or more years relevant security experience or Associates and 0 or more years of relevant security experience or Bachelors Degree and 0 or more years relevant security experience
- Ability to participate in working high-level, complex or sensitive security issues thoroughly and with discretion
- Demonstrated ability to research and identify multiple sources for classification determinations control, marking, and dissemination principles and requirements such as FOIA and Pre-publication reviews
- Ability to develop a working knowledge and be able to implement Intelligence Community Directives or NRO Directives and Instructions
Preferred Qualifications
- Familiarity with ICD 503 and 705
- Experience working with industrial security staffs
- Understanding of NRO Security Tools and applications
- Knowledge of Security Program Oversight Manual (NISPOM) security policy and procedures
- Awareness of program protection methodologies and risk management principles as they relate to appropriately protecting and sharing information, missions, operations, and assets
Security Requirements
Must have a current/active TS/SCI w/Polygraph
Physical Requirements
- Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50%
- Needs to occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, etc.
- Frequently communicates with co-workers, management, and customers, which may involve delivering presentations
- Must be able to exchange accurate information in these situations
