As a Full Stack Developer in Barclays’ Fraud and Identity Verification (IDV) team, you’ll help build and evolve the platforms that protect millions of customers and transactions every day, forming a critical backbone of Barclays’ fraud prevention strategy. To be successful as a Full Stack Developer, you should:
Have a solid foundation in Java fundamentals, with an interest in building and supporting backend services that operate at scale
Demonstrate problem-solving and analytical skills, with curiosity to understand how technology can prevent fraud and protect customers
Be eager to learn modern engineering practices in microservices, APIs, and CI/CD while collaborating effectively within an agile, cross functional team
Other highly valued skills include:
Exposure to Spring / Spring Boot, RESTful APIs, or microservices-based architectures
Familiarity with SQL or NoSQL databases and basic data modeling concepts
Interest in cloud platforms, DevOps, or site reliability concepts within large-scale systems

Minimum Salary: $100,000
Maximum Salary: $110,000
The minimum and maximum salary/rate information above include only base salary or base hourly rate. It does not include any other type of compensation or benefits that may be available.
