Overview
The Customer Satisfaction & Basic Maintenance Technician plays a key role in maintaining a positive customer experience by ensuring the facility is safe, functional, and well-maintained. This position supports daily operations at a large automotive manufacturing plant, performing light maintenance, repairs, and preventive service to keep equipment and work areas in top condition.
Compensation: $22.00 - $26.00 per hour pay rate (U.S. Dollars)
The pay listed is the salary range for this position. Any specific offer will vary based on the successful applicant’s education, experience, skills, abilities, geographic location, and alignment with market data. You may be eligible to participate in a Company incentive or bonus program.
2 Shifts Available: 1st Shift for Monday - Friday from 6:00AM - 2:30PM EST || 2nd Shift for Monday - Friday from 2:00PM - 10:30PM EST

Responsibilities
- Perform general light maintenance and basic repairs, including restrooms, doors, flooring, drywall, and ceiling tiles.
- Service and maintain ice and water machines, including filter replacements and preventive maintenance.
- Respond promptly to leaks, spills, or water issues, ensuring safety and minimal disruption.
- Conduct painting and surface touch-ups to maintain a clean, professional facility appearance.
- Support preventive maintenance programs and complete assigned work orders accurately and efficiently.
- Monitor and report any abnormal equipment or building conditions to supervisors.
- Deliver exceptional customer service by responding to requests quickly and professionally.
- Follow all ABM safety standards and company procedures to ensure a safe work environment.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required.
- 2+ years of experience in general maintenance, building operations, or facility services preferred.
- Basic knowledge of plumbing, electrical, and mechanical systems.
- Ability to use hand and power tools safely.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to customer satisfaction.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical work in various conditions.
