The Data Center Infrastructure Delivery team at Oracle Cloud Infrastructure is a dynamic group of professionals dedicated to delivering state-of-the-art data center facilities at scale and at pace. This team comprises experienced project managers who work collaboratively with vendors and internal teams to ensure the successful execution of complex data center infrastructure and network projects. They bring a wealth of expertise in project management and technical acumen, ensuring that our data center infrastructure delivery meet the highest standards of quality, efficiency, and sustainability. This team plays a crucial role in supporting Oracle Cloud Infrastructure's data needs and driving our growth and success.
Internal Responsibilities
Role Description
In this role, you will be part of the Multicloud E2E team and be responsible for working with both internal OCI teams and external Cloud Service Providers to deliver new sites, expansions (for space & power), and adding customer capacity. The E2E TPM is the single threaded leader who is accountable to complete all execution tasks on-time; such as fit out, circuit provisioning, network & software bootstrap. Your ability to anticipate and mitigate risks to data center delivery will be crucial in maintaining project timelines. This is a high-impact role that will lead, drive, and ensure the successful delivery of critical data center infrastructure builds in our roadmap. The role comes with a high degree of personal accountability and autonomy and will require effective engagement across various stakeholders including design, engineering, operations, supply chain, outside vendors and network delivery.
As an E2E TPM, here are some of the major responsibilities:
· Own end-to-end delivery of multiple data center infrastructure projects concurrently.
· Risk Management: Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies to minimize impact on project timelines and costs.
· Project Management: Oversee all phases of build, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
· Project Planning: Develop and implement long-term strategies aimed at reducing complexity and increasing speed of delivery for data center infrastructure projects.
· Stakeholder Communication: Maintain clear and effective communication with internal and external stakeholders, providing regular updates on project status and addressing any concerns. Frequent executive communication is expected.
