Description:Proposal Analyst SrWhat You Will Be DoingAs a Senior Proposal Analyst, you will play a critical role in shaping the financial strategy for AMMM (C-130J, C-5, and P-3) development and sustainment programs. As the pricing subject matter expert, you will develop accurate, data-driven cost estimates and pricing proposals that directly support competitive contract pursuits, customer negotiations, and long-term program success. This highly collaborative role partners with engineering, supply chain, contracts, finance, and customer-facing teams to deliver pricing solutions that align with customer requirements, business objectives, and corporate compliance standards.
Key Responsibilities- Develop, analyze, and deliver comprehensive cost estimates and pricing proposals for development and sustainment efforts across AMMM programs.
- Partner cross-functionally with Engineering, Supply Chain, Contracts, Finance, and Program Management to gather inputs and build competitive pricing strategies.
- Prepare pricing packages and financial analyses that support proposal submissions, customer negotiations, and contract modifications.
- Ensure pricing methodologies are accurate, compliant, and aligned with customer requirements, government regulations, and company policies.
- Analyze historical data, cost trends, and program requirements to develop defensible cost estimates and identify financial risks and opportunities.
- Support long-range business planning by providing pricing recommendations and financial insights that influence strategic decision-making.
- Present pricing assumptions, cost analyses, and recommendations to program leadership and executive stakeholders.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives that enhance proposal quality, pricing efficiency, and estimating processes.

Basic Qualifications:- Bachelors degree from an accredited college in a related discipline, or 5 years experience in the absence of a Bachelors Degree
- 3+ years of experience in a pricing / estimating related field
- Experience with Microsoft Office tools,
especially Excel spreadsheets.
- Familiarity or experience with FAR, Part 15 proposal requirements.
Desired Skills:- Estimating and/or Pricing Experience.
- Negotiations experience.
- Knowledge of the proposal process and familiar with Basis Of Estimates (BOEs).
- Current Secret clearance.
- PROPRICER experience.
- Excellent written, oral, and task coordination
skills.
- Experience coordinating complex estimates with
changing requirements and deadlines.

Ability to Work Remotely: Full-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work remotely full time at a location other than a Lockheed Martin designated office/job site. Employees may travel to a Lockheed Martin office for periodic meetings.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
Pay Rate: The annual base salary range for this position in most major metropolitan areas in California, Massachusetts, and New York is $84,900 - $147,085. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate’s final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate’s final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.
