As SCADA Analyst IV, you will collaborate with business partners to identify requirements, and translate those into SCADA system requirements and logical/functional designs for SCADA solutions. Maintaining focus on continuous improvement and implementing lean processes will improve performance and safety. The ability to tackle sophisticated problems and collaborate and communicate effectively with all levels of the organization are keys to success!
Responsibilities/Expectations:
Solves complex problems, taking a broad perspective to identify innovative SCADA solutions
Provides technical leadership within a wider team; mentors other team members
Ensures projects are completed on schedule
Analyzes requirements and develops short and long-term SCADA solutions to meet business needs
Coordinates with internal users and external customers to understand SCADA requirements and provide appropriate SCADA solutions
Recommends SCADA solutions based on business requirements within an enterprise organization
Designsand supportsOT data pipelines by integrating SCADA, ACM, Kepware, MQTT/Sparkplug B,HiveMQ, and edge technologies to deliver reliable operational data to enterprise platforms such as Databricks
OptimizesOT data quality and availability through troubleshooting, monitoring, and performance tuning of polling engines, communication channels, edge devices, and data flows
DevelopsandmaintainsOT data solutions that transform,validate, and contextualize operational data for reporting, analytics, machine learning, and business decision-making
Collaboratesacross Operations, Engineering, OT, and IT teams toidentifyrequirements, implement data solutions, and drive standardization and automation initiatives.

Education/Years of Experience:
We welcome candidates with a variety of backgrounds and experiences — if you don’t meet every qualification, this role may be filled at a level that aligns with your skills and growth potential
Required: Bachelor's degree, a minimum of eight (8) years' experience in a SCADA or team leadership role and experience with ClearSCADA, AutoSol, Kepware and OPC protocol
Other Requirements:
Demonstrates excellent organizational/interpersonal skills and safety as the utmost priority
Strong knowledge of SCADA and industrial communication protocols, including OPC, Modbus, DNP3, MQTT, and related OT systems
Experience with enterprise data platforms and analytics tools, including Databricks, SQL, Python, Power BI, and cloud-based dataarchitectures
Ability to diagnose and resolve complex OT data issues, including data quality problems, communication failures, and system integration challenges
Excellent collaboration and communication skills with the ability to translate operational requirements into scalable technical solutions
Needs basic knowledge of Microsoft Office Application and PC skills
Demonstrates knowledge of network operations and telecommunications
Possesses extensive SQL experience and capabilities
Possesses demonstrable understanding of various Flow Computer Protocols
Experience in the energy industry
Preferred: Windows programming experience (Python, VBScript, Ladder Logic)
Preferred: Experience in database development and management
