Maintain all data center equipment and identify potential improvements for operational efficiency.
Perform hands-on operation and maintenance of data center equipment and systems, including mechanical, electrical, building automation and control systems, emergency generators, and fire/life/safety Control data center environment to meet precise standards for temperature, humidity and pressure Monitor, manage and maintain uninterruptable power source, batteries and generators to ensure uninterrupted service Conduct data center inspection rounds to collect readings and maintain logs and documentation related to equipment Observe outside service providers performing work within the critical environment and report hazardous materials, unsafe work practices or general non-compliance with critical facility policy Complete periodic maintenance (PM) tasks and document activities Clean and maintain safe computer and critical equipment rooms.
